I Will Sing The Wondrous Story is presented here to Hyfrydol – one of the most loved Welsh tunes – (better known for Hallelujah! Sing To Jesus). In this recording, Robin Mark leads hundreds of men as they worship at the 1999 Care conference. The worship that appears on the CD is just incredible – “anointed” as one music store salesman put it. It might be over 20 years old, but it sounds just as good today.
Hearing just male voices actually sounds great. The tempo of this rendition might feel a tad slow, but it really works, especially when you singalong.
